Moses was the son of Jacob Widner and Mary. At 26 years of age Moses became the father of Ruben Widner in South Carolina, 1815. At 29 years of age Moses became the father of Moses Perry Widner in Georgia, 1818. At 36 years of age Moses became the father of Frances Widner in Georgia, 1825. At 38 years of age Moses became the father of Mary A. Widner in South Carolina, 1827. At 41 years of age Moses became the father of Andrew C. Widner in Georgia, 1830.
